What I Offer

I provide face to face counselling in a peaceful and quiet space where we can explore any areas of your life you want to discuss. Counselling is not me giving you advice or telling you what you should do. It is a confidential space where you can explore the things that are concerning you.

I will help you achieve greater self-awareness and insight so you can make the right choices for you. We’ll take things at a pace that is comfortable for you. I aim to put you at ease so that you can address even the most sensitive issues.

At the first session we’ll discuss what you want from counselling and assess whether I am the right counsellor for you. Some people decide to continue with counselling straight away, others need time to think about it. If you choose to continue, we’ll arrange a further appointment. These are typically weekly, 50 minutes in duration. For some clients a short period of counselling (6-10 sessions) is enough, others want to work at greater depth and so come for further sessions. The choice is always yours.
